Now, MOAS, in conjunction with Grey for Good, are launching the I SEA app for the iPhone to crowdsource searching the sea through satellite imagery technology with people around the world. Each person is allocated one plot of the sea to “watch” and then alert MOAS if a migrant vessel is spotted.

The I SEA app is available through iTunes.

MOAS is an internationally recognized search and rescue organization founded by two entrepreneurs and humanitarians, Christopher and Regina Catrambone. They have achieved another milestone in successfully transforming humanitarian emergency operationss through technology, first with drones and now with a crowdsourcing app, I SEA.
